Welcome to UnlockFit! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UnlockFit mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using UnlockFit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You may use UnlockFit if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising use of the App by minors.
2. License and Use of the App
2.1 License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use UnlockFit on devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and the App Store terms and conditions.
2.2 Permitted Use
You agree to use UnlockFit solely for personal, non-commercial purposes to help manage screen time and encourage physical activity.
2.3 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose
- Bypass or disable any security or technical features of the App or iOS
- Use the App in a way that may damage, disable, or overburden our services
3. Health and Safety Disclaimer
UnlockFit encourages short physical exercises as part of its core functionality. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for assessing your own physical condition and any associated risks before performing exercises
- You should consult a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have any medical conditions
- You must stop using the App and any exercises immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort
We are not responsible for any injuries or health issues that may result from your use of the App or from performing exercises prompted by the App.
4. Screen Time and App Blocking
UnlockFit uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls APIs to restrict access to selected apps and to display a shield screen.
- You are solely responsible for selecting which apps to block and configuring time limits
- We are not responsible for any loss of data, missed notifications, or other consequences resulting from app blocking
- UnlockFit cannot guarantee that all apps will be blocked in all circumstances due to iOS limitations
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Premium Subscription
UnlockFit offers optional premium subscriptions that provide additional features. Pricing, billing cycles, and free trials are displayed in the App and on the App Store product page.
5.2 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
5.3 Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5.4 Refunds
Payments and refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data. By using UnlockFit, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
UnlockFit, including all content, design, logos, and code, is the intellectual property of its owner and is protected by copyright and other laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the App.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnlockFit is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
In any case, our total liability to you for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription during the previous 12 months, if any.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the App in an improper way.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and cancelling any active subscriptions.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Third-Party Services
UnlockFit uses third-party services such as RevenueCat for subscription management and Apple for payment processing. Your use of these services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your country or region, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by local law.
